…while its arpeggiated post-kosmische tropes are largely a familiar bag, there’s an honesty and acuity to Hauschildt’s vision which makes T&G a fresh and hugely fulfilling listen. Listen out especially for ‘Overnight Venusian’ – a pulsing urban synth noir that conjures Vangelis and early C2 before dissolving into a delicious coda of astral ambience.
